The ice-cream chain is set to open doors of its first store at Centre Pointe Plaza on September 19, 2009. Nancy Wey, the owner of the Baskin-Robbins Centre Point outlet will partner with the American Red Cross, and the Stanly County Chapter, for the store’s grand opening event.

Baskin-Robbins displays a revitalized store concept in all its new stores. The store is defined by a new logo, vibrant interior and exterior design, and innovative atmosphere.

The new Baskin-Robbins logo features the ‘31’ hidden inside displayed at the entrance of the store. The ‘31’ depicts the number of ice-cream flavors the company’s founders’ Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins had planned to offer at their store, offering a different flavor for every day of the month.

The store also includes an ice-cream dipping cabinet that showcases low windows. It is integrated with a step up bar allowing children a view of all the ice-cream flavors on display.
