Designed to facilitate flexible work strategies, the Bay chair easily adapts to changing users. Featuring a soft design in its creation, it lends a human touch to the office.
Keeping in view of the changing work conditions, the Bay chair has been created for mid-zone areas to promote and collaborate. Unlike traditional chair type of ‘executive’, ‘task’ and ‘side chair, the new Bay chair has been designed to respond to the needs of the people who are using them.
The Bay chair combines the design elements of a task chair and an informal meeting-cum-collaboration style of seating, providing more flexibility in work. Designed according to the modern work needs, the Bay chair can be used for reading, touch-down laptop work, making a call away from the desk or team work bench style. It can also be used in different types of informal meetings.
Exhibiting a simple form in its design, the chair features height adjustment and an automatic weight adaption for back-rest counter pressure that encourages sharing aimed at replacing the traditional ‘machine-like’ chair.
Although it features some aspects of the soft domestic styling, its functionality makes it a workplace-friendly chair. The Bay Chair is available as a four-leg chair with castors or glides. Featuring a wide array of design possibilities with fabric, leather and colours from Bene, the bottom side of the Bay chair is available in two colours, like off-white or dark grey.
