The project has been commissioned by Bhumyamka Sekawan and marks the debut of Broadway Malyan in Indonesia. The firm will also provide the project’s schematic masterplan, concept architecture, and branding. The Square, located on a 11.7 hectare-area, will comprise a series of tall buildings, along with a business hotel offering conference, leisure and retail facilities.
A central square will form the key element of the facility’s design. The square will draw references from the Javenese planning concept of alun alun which refers to the conventional town square and centre of civic activity. The square will incorporate a Banyan tree which will serve as a symbol of power and success.
