The project includes construction of a new 700 seat auditorium; a new bus loop which leads to a new main entrance; a foyer for enhancement of security.
In addition, renovation plans also included a music wing; an expanded physical education space and library; additional classroom space and parking space; and student services suite. The office of vice principal; guidance and career areas; the main entrance; gymnasium; library; and the cafeteria were also renovated.
The grant was a part of the $21.5 million fund approval based on the recommendation of Dr. Kenneth Graham, the superintendent, to renovate Burger Middle School, Roth Middle School, the Ninth Grade Academy, Senior High School, and Parker Administration Building.
