The park has a combination of new prestigious offices along side, what is the focal point of the project, fully restored historic buildings. Together with amenities such as cafes, bars and a children’s nursery in the future plans, it is set to create a unique environment incorporating work, leisure, living, art and heritage.
SureSet where specified on the project, run by Slough Estates International, to provide a durable natural gravel finish to a pedestrianised area. It is set under an impressive salvaged airship hanger, which has been fully restored. The new landmark measures 70ft high and 250ft long, and is all part of an area called ‘The Garden Square’, which is the focal point of the park and a carefully landscaped area which will provide a venue for many upcoming events. The installation was completed in a week.
The material this project, which was 3mm Beach, was designed as a close graded finish to ensure its durability for the expected traffic of sometimes heavy pedestrian and occasional maintenance and emergency vehicles. This product, like all SureSet materials, is covered by the seven year guarantee and has an expected life of 20-25 years.
