The renovation has taken a year and included work on 251 guest rooms, two spacious ballrooms, fitness centre, foyer, mezzanine floor meeting halls, business rooms, executive offices, public bathrooms and staff areas.
The interiors of rooms have new fittings such as beds, art pieces, flat screen televisions,among other things. The renovation process has covered more than 3000 square yards of carpet work, over 17,000 linear yards of vinyl wall covering, painting of more than 1300 doors and frames, widespread lighting work, renewal of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in all meeting areas, and work on pool area and other areas of the hotel.
Cicero’s has been assisted by the regional skilled workforce of the Veterans Leadership Program from Pittsburgh in completing the task.
