The fully integrated adaptor fits into a standard 22mm Demountable socket, replacing the grab wedge. With the fitting re-assembled and end cap in place, a 10mm joint can then be made in the normal manner, by simply pushing home the pipe.
Availability of the adaptor eases and speeds conversion of 22mm fittings to accept 10mm pipe without the need to carry other fittings and reducing tees.
