Refurbishing the old Thames Valley University site, the new campus will feature buildings dedicated to various specialised areas like computer science, engineering and related project work. Apart from that the college will also feature two new centres, which will house facilities for music, art, model making and media.

Retaining most parts of the existing building, few minor areas will be demolished to construct a new entrance and arts block. The internal layout of the building will be reordered to suit the curriculum and handling of 600 students.

Academic and industry partners for the project include Microsoft, Network Rail, Cisco, Peter Brett Associates, Logica (now part of CGI) and the University of Reading. Scheduled to be completed on time, the college will generate a mind-set of a formal office environment.
