The Courtyard lobby has been turned into a completely open space, with its traditional front desk replaced by separate welcome podiums. This enables personal interactions at the time when guests check in.
The new lobby also features Courtyard GoBoard, a 52-inch touch screen with local information, weather details, news, maps, business and sports headlines. Guests can navigate using the touch screen to search restaurants, local attractions and directions.
Dewey Weaver and James Moore, the owners of the Pecanland Hotel, also plans to build a new 94-room Towne Place Suites on the site of Hawg Wild Restaurant at Pecanland Mall. The existing Hawg Wild Restaurant will be demolished for the construction of the new hotel.
