David-Michael, of David Michael Design, has finished refurbishing a private residence situated on Riverside Drive. It now includes a farmhouse-style kitchen, period lighting throughout the house, three remodeled bathrooms along with tile work and fixtures as per each bath’s initial 1930s style and renovated wooden floors.
The maid’s quarters were transformed into a spacious family room with surround sound and media center, while in order to highlight the house’s Monterey Colonial architectural style it underwent a specialized interior and exterior painting and molding work.
The project involved landscaping the home’s front and rear grounds in addition and a space adjacent to the pool and Santiago Creek.
Initially constructed in 1933, the Monterey Colonial Revival architecture-styled residence was built for Dr and Mrs Windsor Hollingsworth and their family. Later the residence was occupied by the Henderson Family and Mr Frank A Henderson.
Floral Park Neighborhood consists of over 600 vintage houses that were constructed at the northern tip of Santa Ana from the 1920s to the 1950s.
