Designed with sophisticated lines, dynamic forms and distinctive character, WA has been presented as a bold new addition to the furniture range.
Created with the interplay of angles and curves, the WA armchair is lean, agile, muscular and seemingly in motion. Taking two years to be developed, the chair features arm and legs on either side consisting of a single piece of die-cast aluminum. Exhibiting an ultralight look, the WA collection is strong and sturdy, with a distinct sense of presence.
Featuring casted aluminum legs, the WA dining table complements the WA armchair. The tabletop consists of a sturdy aluminum box encasing a solid foam core. Like the chairs, the entire table is covered in a state-of-the- art powder coating, many times more resistant to scratches and scuffs than standard coatings.
The table is available in three sizes and two of them are extendable by a sophisticated mechanism that allows them to be pulled open from only one side.
Like MU, WA comes in Lipari or Vulcano color ways (within either color way, one fiber is slightly darker than the other, adding a depth and tonal richness to the weave). In addition to the woven versions of the WA armchair, a special sling version is available all in white, with textile seat and backrest.
