The design brief of the area required a fit-out that the Credit Union termed as an antithesis for a bank. In response, Design Clarity provided a space that is divided into three areas – personal, communal and a contemporary social strip.

The facility is equipped with a host of amenities which are usually absent in a traditional-styled bank such as coffee machines, communal lockers, umbrellas and trolleys which can be borrowed by the members. Among other features are iPads dedicated to kids, and a community market that can be used by local farmers and enterprises.

Green, the Credit Union’s brand colour, serves as the predominant tone of the social strip space with green faux turf, and green light fittings. The look is complemented by living money plants.

The design is set to be rolled out across 70 stores across Australia.
