Refurbishment of the shopping center is to upgrade its building frontage and increase retail space. The total cost of the facade makeover and the addition of commercial space is estimated to be $82 million.

The new three dimensional frontage will comprise of multiple transparent, glazed and volumetric external shop fronts installed above the walkway level.

The current glass and granite facade covering will be replaced by pop out glass boxes which will reflect an elegant, ethereal lightness. It will be made of multi faceted layers of aluminum panels and fritted glass with in built energy saving LED lights.

Minor improvements like addition of new balustrades for a contemporary look will also be added. Upon completion the nett lettable area at the retail podium will be increase by around 11,600 square feet.

In addition to the frontage improvement the commercial space above the retail podium of the shopping center will be expanded by another 29,000 square feet with the construction of two more floors for medical and office use.
