The new tile sports a dark Staffordshire Blue hue. The blue colour replicates the tone of solar panels and so, helps the roof integrate with the texture of the solar panels installed in it. This helps in offering a better finish to the roof and thereby, amplifying its aesthetics.
The new dark blue shade of the tile resembles the tone of Blue bricks from Staffordshire. The colour is derived through a process involving control of the kiln atmosphere which transforms the iron content of the clay to blue colour. The new piece offers options of two machine-made finishes which includes sandfaced as well as smoothfaced. It is also available in the new Classic Handformed model.
