The new centre covers an area of 1,700 square feet and is located at the pristine Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre at the medical hub in the Novena area. It is expected to continue the legacy of the Eagle Eye Centre to provide a full suite of quality eye care solutions to the mass community, and will be one-stop specialist eye centre for Presbyopia and LASIK services.
The clinic will offer comprehensive eye care services, consisting of refractive surgery, presbyopia treatment, cataract surgery, retina services, and cornea transplants among others.
The interiors of the centre incorporates black polished marble and timber veneer, which aligns with the centre’s professional and quality image. To further accentuate the interiors, Kyoob-ID has used a canvas of contrasting monotones in rich browns, solid blacks, and cream whites, between a luxe dash of style, which adds an element of sophistication.
To enhance the interiors, the waiting areas of the clinic feature geometric plum carpets and flame-toned modern seating. The designer has used sliding glass panels styled with geometric motifs in place of partitions in the waiting rooms, which further aids in opening up the space.
The ceiling of the facility is marked by linear strips of warm, concealed lighting, which intersect at corners. This forking of light creates a cosy and friendly ambience.
Construction of the full-service clinic was completed in a span of two months in July 2012.
