The project, located at West Street, Bedminster, offers 14, two-bedroom apartments, of which ten are for ex-servicemen, while the remaining four homes have been built for people with disabilities.

The project forms part of a self-build specialist housing project and is the first Train and Build scheme of its kind to house homeless ex-servicemen. The homes have been built on environmentally sustainable design and are built to Level 4 of the Government’s Code for Sustainable Homes.

The project was supported by means of a £660,000 ($1.03 million) funding from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
