Made of mahogany, the President bed is based on an Edwardian bed from the Whitehouse in Washington DC.
As an optional, decorative feature to give a darkened effect to the mouldings, Frank Hudson has revived ebonised highlights, a very popular, decorative feature for Edwardian furniture.
The architectural structure of the bed creates an imposing presence through the use of rich mahogany, Georgian brown and blond antique, the company says in a media statement.
The President bed is complemented by the Belgravia range of bedroom furniture giving a choice of wardrobes, chests of drawers, bedside chest, mirrors, dressing table/stool and heart back chair.
