The aim of the renovation is to improve the food court, center court, guest services centre and addition of a family restroom with private nursing rooms and a family waiting area.

As part of the renovation, interior common areas will be equipped with new soft seating; package carry assistance; free Wi-Fi; stroller rental; and the Sunset Express, a trackless train for kids.

Fashion retailers Boutique Talulah and H&M will open their outlets in the renovated mall, while Bath & Body Works and Express stores will relocate to new locations inside the 20,000 square feet mall. In addition to retail, the Galleria at Sunset will also offer two full-service and 11 fast food restaurants.

Construction is scheduled to begin this month and is expected to be completed in the coming fall. The mall, which first opened in 1996, is owned and operated by Forest City Enterprises.
