Designed by the architecture firm SmithGroupJJR, the building’s façade provides a lively look with animated lines of Lumencove XT luminaires, which surround the round exterior of the building. The luminaires have also been used in the façade’s narrow edge, avoiding remote ballasts.
The Lumencove XT fixtures are DMX-controlled to dim, producing a gradual movement. They are programmed to be constant as well as ever-changing. The fixtures are also designed to withstand Arizona’s extreme temperatures and sandstorms.
Easy to install, the fixtures were supplied by lighting manufacturing company Lumenpulse Lighting Inc. The fixtures lend a billboard feel to the building at night.
