Pursuant to the contract, GE will change the signage on all four sides with the company’s efficient Tetra PowerMax LED modules. Scope of work involves removal of the outdated signage and the installation of new, five metre high letters and a logo spanning almost 30 metres.

For illuminating the signage and logo, GE will use 16,000 Tetra PowerMax LED modules in white, 6,300 modules in red and 500 LED 0-10V dimmable drivers. In the daylight, the letters will appear black, and in night, the letters will shine bright white, when the lights are turned on.

The installation will give the HSBC building a unique identity among tall buildings of Canary Wharf. The company plans to commence work in November 2012.
