Located in a corner plot in the middle of Bandra-Kurla Complex, the new Godrej BKC is designed by the global architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (SOM). It will have an area of 1.3 million square feet, with over 161,460 square feet of carpet area to be utilised by Jet Airways for their state-of-the-art new headquarters.

Godrej BKC will have a footplate of 70,000 square feet. The new building will have a grid of 9 by 9m efficient area utilisation and flexibility in planning office layouts. The building will offer flexible floor plates, elevated landscaped terraces, a curated art program and open interior common areas.

Keeping the environmental impact in view, Godrej BKC will incorporate a host of sustainable elements in its design. The construction of the new building is scheduled for completion in 2015.

According to Godrej, the project is among the largest real estate development projects in Mumbai.
