In preparation for its 90th anniversary, the Copacabana Palace underwent a major renovation led by Paris-based interior designer Michel Jouannet. To upgrade the bathrooms, GROHE water fittings and showers have been selected, which lend a classic grace and elegance to complement the modern stylish interior of the hotel.
A total of 145 hotel rooms and suites in the hotel’s main building, including 90 bathrooms have underwent a renovation process to complement the historic style of buildings. The art deco inspired Somerset series from GROHE has been specified for the bathrooms, which reflect elegance as well as style in its design.
The StarLight finished faucets from GROHE has been used in the bath area, which can protect them against scratching and soiling, allowing them to retain their lustre for many years.
In addition to that GROHE Rainshower Rustic shower, which combines authentic period design and state-of-the-art GROHE technology, has been used in the bathrooms. To provide a luxury bath experience to the guests, the integrated GROHE DreamSpray technology has been used in the bath area.
