The Hubbard Village Center will span 23,000 square feet and will be built at 14117 Hubbard St., near Glenoaks Boulevard in Sylmar. Featuring a Mediterranean design, the centre will be L-shaped. It will feature 8,000 square feet for retail development and 6,000 square feet for offices. The centre will also feature Casa Torres Restaurant promoted by the developer and a sushi restaurant.
The project is supported by the Sylmar Neighborhood Council and the Sylmar Chamber of Commerce. The Valley Economic Development Center worked with United Bank for the financing of the project.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2011, with the opening of restaurants and stores scheduled in early 2012.
