Healthcare Design 2009 takes place in Florida on October 21 to November 3, and focuses on the design of responsible built environments that directly impact the safety, operation, clinical outcomes, and financial success of healthcare facilities.
Professionals involved in the design, construction, and operation of healthcare facilities, including top administrators and operations executives, architects, interior designers, facility managers, and design/build professionals, as well as researchers, students and educators are all welcome to attend the event.
Over 3,200 people attended the event last year and over 3,400 attendees are expected in 2009.
The Vendome Group, publisher of Healthcare Design and Nursing Homes/Long Term Care Management magazines, and The Center for Health Design, a non-profit research and advocacy organization, in conjunction with the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health are all responsible for producing the conference.
It has been endorsed by experts, including the International Interior Design Association, the American College of Healthcare Architects, the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers and the American Society of Interior Designers.
All proposals submitted for conference will be reviewed over the next few months, and speakers will be notified by March 16, 2009.
