The 53-story skyscraper received a $6 million makeover, which included modernizing the street level lobby, sky lobby and mall level.

Rich furniture-grade wood panels and stainless steel cladding have been added to complement the generous amounts of granite. Lighting and electrical retrofits have been improved to meet specifications for an Energy Star rating, and all common areas are now cellphone and WiFi connected.

The lobby has received a makeover which adorns the space with several striking pieces of sculptured artwork, a Bisazza tile-lined water feature and a textured wall finished with a high-gloss automotive paint. Also included, are a granite and stainless steel monument sign at the Plaza entrance.

Other notable additions include a 11-story parking garage and tunnel. The new parking garage accommodates 1,172 slots; the automated, credit-card-only, HCTRA toll tag accessible system is managed by Focus Point Parking.

The security system also received an upgrade and includes installation of 164 closed-circuit cameras with seven real-time digital video recorders. Blue Light Emergency phones have been added in all three property garages and Star Call Emergency phones in both stairwells.

Heritage Plaza is equipped with a fully staffed fitness center, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and massage room.
