Renovating the Hotel Campanario, the DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca will add a new, 50-room tower. Located in the industrial centre of Toluca, the new eight-storey property will feature 130 guest rooms, including 80 renovated rooms and 50 new rooms that will form part of the tower addition.
Exhibiting a traditional hacienda-style design, complete with courtyards and open public spaces, the renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca’s 130 guest rooms and suites will feature plush bed, refreshing bath and body products, 42-inch HDTV flat screen television, in-room tea and coffee making service, spacious work desks with data ports, MP3-compatible clock radios, and wireless high-speed Internet access.
Two restaurants, a bar and a café, as well as recreational facilities including a state-of-the-art fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and retail shops are also included in the property. To conduct events and meetings, the hotel will provide more than 6,500 square feet of flexible function space including a complimentary, 24-hour business centre, and two new junior ballrooms as part of the new tower.
The new DoubleTree by Hilton Toluca is expected to open its doors to the guests in late 2014.
