The new carousel design will feature on the new children’s area embodying the Royals baseball fantasy world. The design will include one ADA Accessible chariot, along with 16 figures related to either a baseball or ‘Royal’ theme.
Intricately carved armored horses and a knight horse with flowing robes and a silver lance will feature in the carousel. Horses adorned with flower bouquet carvings and ribbons are also to be included in the carousel design. A relief carving of a castle detailed on the blanket will also adorn the area.
Baseball themed figures will also be integrated to the new carousel design. A baseball bat with a glove will function as a seat, while patriotic bald eagle, a zebra, an elephant and the mascot Sluggerrr will also find a place on the carousel and the rounding board.
The wheel chair chariot composed of the large baseball glove and ball will provide for a ride. Home plate-shaped mirrors, 3D carved baseballs exhibited between all the lights, glove and bat design enhancements, and a crown finial at the peak of the carousel are other features.
