The yacht has been designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder of PB Design and engineering, with Holland’s Vripack engineering and naval architecture. The interior of the yacht is designed by Luiz de Basto. Following the first Magellan 110 launched in 2007, Kingship has developed this project with the same team.
The second Magellan 110 superyacht features an extension of the sky lounge by 1.5 meters, which gives more interior space to the owner. The sky lounge was present in the first Magellam 110 superyacht as well. The second superyacht also features a large master bedroom on main deck with four guest cabins.
Powered by two 3406E DITA Caterpillar, the second Magellan can make 14 knots with a range of 5000 nm. The hull of the yacht is made of steel with an aluminium superstructure. The yacht is also built to Lloyd’s + 100 A1 SSC yacht Mono G6 + LMC and MCA compliance.
It will be delivered in mid 2010.
