The Karbon lavatory faucets have been designed in a way which allows the user to position the spout as per need. These faucets also have the hands-free options. All Karbon bath models feature a multi-function sprayhead. The standard stream is for grooming use, while the more powerful spray has been added for rinsing and cleaning the sink. With its smaller profile, the lavatory faucet is also suitable to be used as a secondary kitchen faucet.
The Kohler Karbon faucet gets its name from carbon fiber, the lightweight, strong material which has been partially used to make it. The original design impetus of the Karbon faucet was inspired by lighting and construction equipment with articulating joints and is visible throughout the collection.
The actual construction of the faucet is a combination of traditional brass and carbon fiber composite tubing, which allows tight movement tolerance. The joints connecting the sections of the faucet employ a patented technology that provides resistance to support the spout while allowing for smooth handling.
The Karbon lavatory faucets are available in deck-mount, wall-mount and widespread models. The widespread model allows for a retrofit installation. The available colors are Silver and Black with Polished Chrome or Vibrant Brushed Nickel metal accents.
