Sprawling over 167-acre site at 50th Avenue & Pioneer Road in Alexandria, the school will have a capacity to accommodate 1,400 students in grades 10-12. The project involves construction of two, three-storey buildings, which will together encompass an area of 280,000 square feet.

The school will have 36 classrooms, 12 flexible learning spaces for small and large groups, science labs, technology/engineering lab, art rooms, a media center and special education classrooms. The school will have community resource that will be available to the public and organizations for activities and events.

The other facilities at the school will consist of new athletic fields and a stadium, an activities wing with a three-station gymnasium, and a performing arts wing complete with dedicated music spaces, as well as an auditorium to accommodate 1,000 people.

The new school will have a host of green features, which includes energy-efficient design with outdoor green areas. It will replace the existing landlocked school.
