Designed by Lynch Architects, the project involves redevelopment of the former Kingsgate House on Victoria Street, SW1. The scheme involves construction of two new buildings, namely Zig Zag Building and Kings Gate.

The Zig Zag Building will be a 14-storey office block that will have a total area of 190,000 square feet. The building will have a staggered façade. The Kings Gate building will be a 12-storey residential building that will accommodate 100 apartments.

The two buildings will also accommodate retail space, which will cover 45,000 square feet. The project will also improve the public realm of the area, which is likely to benefit the wider Victoria area.

Construction of the buildings are scheduled for completion in mid- 2015. The decision for the redevelopment came after the change in Government planning laws in relation to Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Regulations. This new development forms part of Land Securities’ regeneration and investment in Victoria SW1.
