Opening in June, Le Corbusier: An Atlas of Modern Landscapes will feature the architecture, design, art, photography and writings of the hugely influential Swiss-born French architect, whose real name was Charles-Edouard Jeanneret. The show will focus on the ways in which Le Corbusier observed and imagined landscapes throughout his career.

Drawn from the MoMA’s own collection with additional exhibits on loan from Le Corbusier Foundation in Paris, the exhibition will include early watercolours of Italy, Greece, and Turkey, sketches of India, photographs of his formative journeys and architectural models of his large-scale projects.

The exhibition is organised by guest curators Jean-Louis Cohen, Sheldon H Solow, professor in the history of architecture at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, and Barry Bergdoll, the Philip Johnson chief curator of architecture and design at MoMA.
