Located at 270, Oxford Street in London, the new Coast store is a 6,000 square feet retail unit, whose design reflects a sense of drama and escapism, which is the signature style of the designer. The layout of the £1 million ($1.54 million) store goes in sync with bold and colourful design concept of Coast.
The store has an interactive space which inspires and engages customers, and at the same time, allows customers to relax and browse at their leisure. The designer laid a greater emphasis to the fitting room, which has been placed at the basement of the store.
Lee Broom has used several of its signature pieces to adorn the store, which includes Decanterlights which are adapted to feature silver fittings rather than gold. Dusky pinks have been used with white and soft greys for the furniture, such as armchairs, which has been upholstered in bespoke materials.
Lee Broom has applied architrave details with a modern flavour throughout the store. The entrance of the store has two large illuminated frames, through which the customers walk in. The entrance leads to lit marble staircase, which features oversized mirrored panels that showcase the collection and illuminate the space.
