The project involves transformation of a 1.61-hectare site located at north-western corner of the 17-hectare Ashmore Industrial Estate into residential development. The new residential development will consist of 302 apartments that will be a mix of studios to three-bedrooms units.
The project will develop four apartment buildings with landscaped setbacks. Sixteen Torrens Title terrace houses will be built on the northern perimeter of the development. The buildings will be ecologically sound and will vary between three to eight storeys in height. The company also plans to build a cafe at the closest point to Erskineville Station.
Construction on the scheme will be undertaken in a staged manner. The phase I will offer 263 apartments across three buildings and the cafe. The development will also have scope for pedestrian and cycleways, which will connect the scheme to nearby Erskineville village and the railway station. Other amenities for the residents include a landscaped central community park plus a pocket park at the northwestern corner.
The project also include a new public road that will connect Macdonald Street to the south and Bridge Street to the north, providing access to pedestrians and cyclists traveling to and from Erskineville village and Erskineville Railway Station.
