Studio Two Interiors has designed Six by Nico’s new restaurant in Bristol, using a mix of rich materials, curated artwork, plants, architectural arches and painted backdrops.

To complement the interior design, Studio Two selected architectural luminaires from Lucent Lighting. The lighting design aims to enhance specific areas without drawing attention to the fixtures.

Recessed EDGE90 Pinhole downlights in a custom RAL finish are installed above each dining table, providing focused illumination with high CRI95+ LED technology for accurate food presentation. Miniature Micro Oculus downlights highlight artwork and features, offering low-glare accenting. Vista Mini spike lights provide uplighting to potted plants and olive trees, reinforcing biophilic elements and adding texture.

The architectural arches are illuminated with Inground40 recessed uplighters, positioned to accentuate the ceiling and the unique construction of the venue.

Giovanni Premi from Lucent Lighting stated: ‘It’s the finer details that make all the difference in a project like this. From colour temperatures to beam angles, every choice plays a role in shaping the mood and experience. When there’s this level of collaboration and attention to detail, you get a result that feels effortless – but is the product of careful planning and precision.’
