The entrance system project included the shaping of the main mat within a circular revolving door, adjoining a semicircular mat afterwards bringing visitors through the doors to a main lobby and reception area.
Master Matting who was awarded the installation contract approached MatWorks who manufactured the entry system chosen to recommend an entryway flooring system that could withstand footfall averaging over 5,000 people per day.
MatWork’s Frameworks system was selected for the area for its exceptional hard wearing nature. The open construction of Frameworks allows dirt to fall below the level of the mat so that it cannot be tracked into the building. Fibrous inserts within the system brush shoes to remove moisture and stopping up to 90% of all footborne dirt and moisture within the matting area. The appearance and aesthetics of the building are effectively protected.
