Work, planned to be carried out in three phases, will involve makeover of the hotel’s guestrooms, meeting and public area, and food and beverage outlets. The revamped guestrooms, suites and Grand Club Rooms will incorporate an urban and maritime flavour with warm teak wood shades accentuated by white and coloured hues which alter tones with the sun’s movement. Every room will be equipped with new carpeting, curtains, wall coverings, bed coverings, lampshades and wall art following the facelift.

The remodelled guestroom corridors will be adorned in new carpeting and wall coverings. The restrooms too, will feature new wallpaper while receiving fresh coats of paint. There will also be an overhaul of the public spaces of the hotel as part of the project.

The project is expected to commence by May 2012 and be completed by the end of 2013.
