All the new products of Manital are characterised by technological and design innovation. In collaboration with Mazzer, a new handle Clinia, and two sliding door pulls Flat and Otto were introduced at the expo.
Clinia is a handle of balanced proportions with squared lines, characterised by the grip sloping downwards. The design is combined with the square rosette of the “Ultra Slim Innovation” range that is only three millimeters thick. Clinia is available in forged brass with finishing of polished brass, satin brass, satin bronze, chrome, satin chrome, satin nickel, or “SDF,” which is short for Super Durable Finish, a high-performance protective treatment developed to maintain the colour and gloss in the long run.
Flat is designed as an innovative system for sliding door pull in one single plate, enveloping three sides of the door that integrates both the locking and opening functions. The opening and sliding functions are obtained by pushing the disk located in the upper part of the plate, while the locking function, by means of a thumb-turn knob, is located in the lower part of the same plate. Flat is available in special alloy with a finish of chrome, or satin chrome.
Otto is a sliding door pull which stands out for its design and technological innovation on a single plate. It is characterised by an elegant figure of eight shape, which is a nod to the Italian word Otto that means ‘eight.’ Created by the intersection of two circles, it combines the door’s opening and closing functions. The lower circle encloses the thumb-turn locking knob, while the upper circle serves as the sliding/opening function. Otto is available in forged brass with finish options of polished brass, satin brass, satin bronze, chrome, satin chrome, satin nickel, or SDF.
Made Expo was held in Milan from 17-20 October 2012.
