The new office, spanning two floors, is located at 100 Federal Street in Boston. The office occupies an area of 54,000 square feet. MPA’s interior design for the offices maintained much of the original design, but created a new executive office suite with finishes that are in harmony with the remaining interiors.
The executive suite’s offices feature light maple wood furniture and conference tables with a choice of traditional boardroom seating and modern casual chairs. The office space is further personalised by the painting a wall in firm’s reception area in tonal colour and plaster paint created by local artist Sarah Egan.
MPA also provided programming and feasibility analyses for several potential new locations in Boston before the current location was finalised. The firm also conducted several test fits to compare building efficiencies in spaces of approximately 50,000 square feet.
The general contractor for the project was Commodore Builders while RDK Engineers provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering. Cushman & Wakefield was the project manager for the project.
