Material Source Studio in Manchester has enhanced its meeting room with a new ceiling solution.

Suspended ceiling tile supplier Zentia, in collaboration with lighting solutions provider Light Forms, provided a tailored solution that aligns with the room’s soft furnishings. The meeting room’s location next to the kitchen and at the bottom of the main staircase necessitated a ceiling solution that maintained acoustic properties to support a comfortable co-working and networking atmosphere.

Zentia delivered a bespoke grid solution that included the DecoFrame Kit Classic Canopy, Gridline, and triangle tiles in white and grey. The design was created by Zentia’s solutions design manager, Nick Harper, who also provided expertise for the project. The solution featured bespoke lighting designed in collaboration with Light Forms.

The installation was completed in July 2025 by Sound Interiors. John Spicer, head of new product development at Zentia, stated: ‘We’ve been encouraged by the positive feedback on how straightforward the installation process is, which led us to officially launch this as a product.’

Material Source Studio serves as a hub for built environment professionals, showcasing installations from over 50 brands. The space includes product showcases, seminars, workshops, and networking facilities, designed to foster creativity and collaboration among designers and architects.
