The new washing machine is designed to imbibe the intelligent, intuitive programming with high quality engineering of its predecessor. The inclusion of Microban technology in the dispenser drawer of the machine has limited the growth of bacteria and mould by reducing residue build-up in the drawer. This has resulted in an effective, long-term cleanliness and added hygiene.
The Maytag washing machine is A++ energy rated with an ‘AB’ rating for washing and drying. It is also enabled with IntelliSense, an advanced sensor technology that guarantees up to 50% of energy, water and time saving. IntelliSense measures the exact load and adjusts the amount of water, which prevents wastage of energy and time.
The high wash-load capacity of 9kg further assists the machine to offer energy and water efficiency and save time. The appliance is also equipped with a Dosing Aid, which suggest the correct amount of detergent required for washing by analysing the load.
The washing machine also has 14 wash programmes including, White, Light Colours, Dark, Cotton, Synthetics, Delicates, Wool/Hand, Bed Linen, Super Eco (saving up to 40% energy), Aqua Eco, Speed 15 (washes 3kg wash load in 15 minutes), Eco Cotton, and Rinse & Spin.
The device features ten special options including Favourites (saves the most frequently used programme settings), Soil level, Pre-Wash, Clean+ (optimises any in-wash additive for optimal stain removal), Rinse Hold, and Intensive Rinse.
Its spin imbalance feature re-distributes the load automatically to protect the machine. It also supports start delays of up to 24hrs. The machine has an intuitive layout that ensures ease of use and an LCD display with programme progress indicator. The machine’s door opening angle is of 172°, which further makes loading and unloading easy.
Maytag is offering the product in white with chrome trim and has a dimension of 580 X 595 x 600mm. The machine has a noise level of just 59/79 dB(A) wash/spin. The appliance has a maximum spin speed of 1400 rpm.
