The interior design, including all signage, graphics and menus will be undertaken by Minneapolis based design firm, Shea Inc.
Shea describes the space as a striking glass wine vault at the entrance visually unites the two environments. The design of the space combines clean, contemporary lines with iconic traditional elements.”
The new retail concept is expected to combine a high end market and cafe with a wine and liquor store. It will be constructed in adherence to the Minnesota state law, which requires separate entrances for the liquor store and the market/cafe.
Golden Valley based Zeman Construction Co. is the general contractor for the project. The completed Pairings is expected to be open by May, 2009.
