The designer routes the inspiration behind the chair to the marine environment of Croatia. The bench has an abstract shape, which bears resemblance to the natural forms of the waves and hull of the boats. The shape is further enhanced with plank wood that refers to the decks of the ship.
The bench has a triangular hollow concrete base, which functions as the base of the bench. The base supports the adjustable surfaces and gives the structure a catamaran-like aesthetic. The wooden planks form a solid surface to sit upon.
The seating serves partly as a bench and partly as a lounger. It also provides a sloping leg rest that encourages two comfortable positions of sitting and lying.
