Today started with a company presentation at the Nowy Styl showroom in Krakow, during which we learnt more about the sustainability side of the brand.
It was mentioned that they had previously worked with external companies to take a more sustainable approach to their custom client projects, specifically the partnership between Forum by Nowy Styl and Grupa Azoty Compounding for the Eintracht Frankfurt Stadium.
The project consisted of the production of 40,000 seats made from 80% post production waste and is an example of the massive potential for recycled materials.
After the presentation we were taken around the showroom and their nearby office.
The most notable theme in these spaces was biophilia, both locations were filled with living walls and littered with a range of potted plants which made the areas feel light and airy.
In general the spaces were absolutely lovely, they were bright and cheerful with various pops of colour and fun shapes embedded within their designs and decoration.
Colour within the workplace is something that I am very passionate about and I loved the range of colour employed within the company.
The building that housed the showroom was the perfect blend of the traditional and the modern, a visual representation of NowyStyl’s company values, and had a grand outdoor space.
We were invited to test and interact with every product on display, including an office swing which I think everyone should install within their spaces as soon as possible.
Overall I really enjoyed my trip to Poland with NowyStyl, it’s developed my knowledge on both the brand and the office furniture industry in general.
