Nick India has acquired the Ninja Hattori licensing and merchandizing rights from Shogakukan-Shuseisha Productions. The company can now produce and retail and also promote the cartoon-inspired merchandise.
Apart from bed linen, the channel will also produce footwear, stationery, back-to-school products such as lunch boxes and bags, tableware, storybooks, board games, puzzles and toys.
Ninja Hattori is added to the existing range of Dora and SpongeBob merchandise, and is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2010.
