The design of the Boya Lamp routes its inspiration to the beacon lights and marine buoys. The base of the bedside lamp has a small dimension, which has been made from reclaimed solid American Oak or Natural Maple wood.
The lamp shade is made using grey blown glass that has been tinted. It diffuses the light and sets a warm atmosphere for the room. The reclaimed oak version of the lamp is made from 8 inch x 8 inch hand hewn beams of red and white oak, sourced from the US.
Boya Lamp was launched in early 2012 during Salone del Mobile fair in Milan, Italy.
