The nine-level, 2,246-space garage at Orlando Regional Medical Center has been constructed as a part of a multi-year expansion plan that includes a medical office and surgery center project. Orlando Regional Medical Center is run by Orlando Health, a 1,788-bed not-for-profit healthcare network in Central Florida.

The parking space features 16 palm tree murals ranging in height from 32 to 61 feet tall. The palm trees are designed to replicate original artwork created by Maria Reyes-Jones. Her painting interests include a range from traditional still life and landscape paintings to colorful, quirky portraits of dogs, cats and people. She is most widely known for her series of palm tree paintings.

Contractors on the garage include Jack Jennings & Sons, Finfrock Design, Baker Barrios Architects, Ingenuity Engineers, GAI Consultants, Glatting Jackson, Finfrock Industries and Sundance Architectural Products.

Orlando Health is undertaking $125 million to $150 million renovation and expansion projects at Orlando Regional Medical Center in order to consolidate clinical services at Orlando Regional.
