The restaurant was relocated to Haymarket from Trocadero, in January this year. It is situated near the Piccadilly Circus location.
Redesigning the new restaurant cost GBP5 million ($8.15 million) and brought in a contemporary design. Jonathan Manser, of the Manser Practice firm, was roped in to design the restaurant.
Vast ground floor windows enable the use of natural light. Exposed brickwork and natural timber mark the design of the restaurant, which is further highlighted by bright colored furniture.
Selected areas will feature the movie memorabilia screens and props, which will showcase up-to-the minute films. The ground floor also features the main cocktail bar and the mezzanine bar to provide guests with a view of the venue.
The restaurant has a ‘Best of British’ room, which features Union Jack carpets and British film props to define its theme. Event spaces, the private dining room and separate VIP entrance are additional provisions of the restaurant.
The restaurant acquires an imposing ground floor position in the London West End location. It is the venue for the restaurants Planet Hollywood brand, which will take shape later this year.
