The 300 guestroom hotel, that was inaugurated in March 2011, has been constructed in compliance with several green principles, based on which it has secured LEED status.

Construction of the hotel involved usage of post-consumer recycled material, which accounts for 26% of the total material. The green elements of the hotel include a green roof, which reduces heat island effect.

The hotel features energy efficient glass and energy efficient lighting. The landscape of the hotel uses 50% lesser water. The other green initiatives of the hotel include a guest bike program, Ozone protection w/ chlorine-free refrigerant, collection and storage of recyclable materials, on-site carbon dioxide monitoring, and use of low-emitting materials among several other initiatives.
