Recognized for its red brick exterior and looming tower, the downtown landmark is undergoing a major renovation and enlargement, said to be the second large-scale project undertaken within the Peter Street building in a decade. Post completion, the enhancements will translate into a lot of programming, a wider kind of exhibits and new opportunities to broaden audience base.
The building’s ground floor was dramatically reworked throughout a renovation that was completed in late 2004.
